The eLearning Network, a UK based community of elearning professionals, is hosting an event dedicated to mobile learning on Friday 6 July 2012.
Sponsored by elearning providers Epic, the ‘Mad about Mobile’ event is a one day conference featuring a line up of speakers who have actually been there and done it with mobile learning. The adoption rate of m-learning within UK organisations is only around 39% but predicted usage in 2012 was over 70%.* So what’s stopping organisations mobilising their learning content?
Industry analyst Elearnity will set the scene with ‘The state of the mobile learning nation’ based on an insights report written earlier this year which explores the reality of mobile learning in UK organisations.
Case studies will include Scottish Social Services Council, Barclaycard and Duke CE. These very different organisations are each using different mobile learning solutions such as the Sony PSP and the Apple iPad, to meet their internal challenges.
