The organisers of the annual Learning Technologies conference have this week announced the programme for its upcoming event on 29-30 January 2013 and London’s Olympia 2.
The keynote speakers are Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Association, and Gerd Leonhard, a renowned futurist. Negroponte’s keynote on the first day of the event is entitled ‘Re-thinking learning and re-learning thinking’. Whilst Leonhard will explore how to redefine ‘the meaning of learning in a networked society’. The event is now in its thirteenth year and will aim to provide a range of sessions including keynote addresses, case studies, cafe style sessions and practical debate.
Other notable sessions feature speakers such as Professor Stephen Heppell, Allison Rossett, Itiel Dror, Steve Wheeler and Lord David Puttnam. Case study sessions include organisations such as the British Army, Lloyds Banking Group, Mars, Panasonic and Volvo Cars.
